Your Health And You: Bee Supplements
Bee pollen is oftentimes referred to as nature’s most complete food. Human consumption of bee pollen is praised in the Bible, other religious books, and ancient Chinese and Egyptian texts. Bee pollen rejuvenates the body, stimulates glands and organs, brings about longevity, and enhances vitality. The ability of bee pollen to noticeably and consistently increase energy levels puts it on the list of many world-class athletes and those interested in enhancing and sustaining quality performance. In addition there are many benefits of honey.
Bee propolis, often called Nature’s penicillin, has historically been used to treat TB, ulcers, mitosis, colitis and to boost immunity. Bee propolis is known to destroy viruses, fungi, bacteria, and even those bacteria like staphylococcus that are resistant to penicillin. Contained are bioflavonoids, and one of these is a natural antibiotic. Also, the immune system is boosted by bee propolis, specifically through the increase of phagocyte activity. Bee Propolis also inhibits prostaglandin production, thereby stopping inflammation.
Bee propolis is a resin collected by bees from plants used for the building of hives. Long before humans ever did, bees have already adopted sterilization habits. You can find the most sterile place in nature by looking at a bee hive. Propolis is the substance that’s responsible for the neutralization of any fungi, bacteria, or virus that enters the hive. It’s also one of nature’s most powerful foods, propolis is a very complex mixture of resins, waxes, oils, balsams, and a small amount of pollen.
Bee propolis is a waxy substance collected by honey bees which contains phytotonizides. Immunity factors are believed to be part of phytotonizides that once used internally, stimulates the body giving it natural resistance to diseases just like a natural antibiotic. Propolis is collected all over the world. and the right temperature control will make sure it remains fresh and consistent to the max.
As a supplement, bee propolis does great against infections caused by bacteria. It stimulates ‘phagocytosis’; helps white blood cells to destroy bacteria. Gives great outcomes against halitosis, dry cough, tonsillitis, acne, ulcers, and inflammation of the mucous membranes of the throat and mouth. The immune system is stimulated. Of course the queen bee is crucial , consequently there are healthy queen bees for sale.
Royal jelly is a substance with a complex chemical structure made by the young nurse bees as food for larva. Although it is not quite as well referred to as bee pollen, royal jelly equals pollen in its salutary effects.
The young nurse bees make royal jelly, it is a secretion from glands on the tops of their heads. For 2-3 days, all young larvae get only royal jelly as food throughout their maturation stage, while queen larvae only ever get fed royal jelly for their entire lives. During the 3 days in which the worker bee larvae are fed on royal jelly, they reach the maximum development; they weigh about 250 times more. The queen, who is fed only royal jelly, matures five days earlier than the workers; she weighs twice as much as a worker bee when she grows fully. Worker bee life spans last from 35-40 days; while the queen’s life span is five to six years and is very prolific. She gets fertilized once, and from then can lay up to 3,000 eggs every day during the season. Incredible as that may seem, she can keep that up for 5 years.
This rich concentration of food isn’t just good for the bees. It has large amounts of vitamins, lipids, proteins, glucides, hormones, mineral substances, enzymes, and particular vital factors that act as biocatalysts in cell regeneration processes inside the body.
