Bee Nutritional Supplements To Keep You Healthy
Bee pollen is often described as the most complete food in nature. The ingestion of bee pollen by humans has found praise in the Bible, other religious books, and even ancient texts by the Egyptians and Chinese. Bee pollen helps rejuvenate the body, stimulate glands and organs, enhance vitality, and bring about a longer life span. The way that bee pollen noticeably and consistently increases energy levels makes it very popular among lots of world class athletes and people who are interested in improving and maintaining quality performance. In addition there are many benefits of honey.
Bee propolis, often called Nature’s penicillin, has historically been used to treat TB, ulcers, mitosis, colitis and to boost immunity. Bee propolis has been shown to destroy bacteria, viruses, fungus and even penicillin resistant bacteria (staphylococcus). It has bioflavonoids, with one being a natural antibiotic. Also, the immune system is boosted by bee propolis, specifically through the increase of phagocyte activity. Inflammation is stopped by bee propolis through the inhibition of prostaglandin production.
Bee propolis is a resin collected from plants by bees and used in the construction of hives. Sterilization habits have long been adopted by bees before humans. The bee hive is the most sterile place in nature. Propolis takes care of neutralizing any virus, bacteria, or fungi that comes into the hive. One of the more powerful natural foods, propolis is composed of a very complex mixture of oils, resins, balsams, waxes, and a small amount of pollen.
Bee propolis is a waxy substance collected by honey bees which contains phytotonizides. Immunity factors are believed to be part of phytotonizides that once used internally, stimulates the body giving it natural resistance to diseases just like a natural antibiotic. Propolis is gathered from all around the world, and proper temperature control will assure maximum freshness and consistency.
As a supplement, bee propolis is an excellent aid against bacterial infections. It helps by stimulating ‘phagocytosis’; helps white blood cells to destroy bacteria. Gives great results against halitosis, dry cough, tonsillitis, acne, ulcers, and inflammation of the mucous membranes of the throat and mouth. The body’s immune system is stimulated. It is also important to have an array of healthy queen bees for sale.
Royal jelly has a complex chemical structure, it is produced as food for larva by the young nurse bees. Although royal jelly is less popular than bee pollen, they are equal in salutary effects.
Young nurse bees produce royal jelly, the glands on the tops of their heads secrete it. For two to three days, the young larvae are fed royal jelly throughout their maturation process, while queen larvae are fed only royal jelly their whole lives. During the time the worker larvae are fed royal jelly, they develop fully; their weights multiply by around 250 times more. The queen, fed only royal jelly her whole life, reaches her maturity earlier than worker bees by 5 days; and when she is fully grown, weighs twice as much as a worker bee. The life span of a worker bee is about 35-40 days; while the queen lives 5-6 years and is extremely prolific. The queen is fertilized once, and from then can lay as many as 3,000 eggs per day throughout the season. Incredible as that may seem, she can keep that up for 5 years.
Bees aren’t the only ones who find this rich concentration of food useful. It has remarkable amounts of lipids, glucides, proteins, hormones, vitamins, enzymes, mineral substances, and specific vital factors that act as biocatalysts in processes regarding cell regeneration in the body.
