sick chickens please help !!!!?
I am caring for 10 week old chickens that have the cold. They are sneezing and gaping to breathe. I have been trying the apple cider vinegar remedy but 4 have died so far.
Please help, i don’t want to lose them all

I’m not exactly sure what could be going on, but I would recommend that you find a good farm vet or avian vet that will try to help you diagnose them. Not all vets will treat chickens & most aren’t knowledgeable about poultry specific diseases, so you might have to look hard to find one. Make sure to check they’re mouths for gapeworms, just in case it’s that & not something more serious. It doesn’t sound like it is, though, so they most likely need to be on an antibiotic like Duramycin or Baytril, as well as vitamins/electrolytes. You might want to provide some scrambled eggs for the extra protein. It would also probably help to make sure they can get plenty of fresh air because I know that chicks can create a lot of dust & that can make breathing difficult for us & them.
You should probably have the dead chicks necropsied, just so you’ll know exactly what you’re dealing with. Most places will do birds for free.
