Health is the first wealth. So true. If you're here reading Holiday Honey, you probably value your health and feeling great. But sometimes, we can get so wrapped up in our workouts and diets that we forget about the little things that keep you running. Here are some simple, healthy reminders.
- Drink water. It cleanses your insides. If that's not enough, know that dehydration can cause a
lack of energy. So keep drinking that H20 so you're at your highest potential.
- Get your sleep. For more information check this out: The Importance of a Good Night's Sleep
- Stay away from processed foods and enjoy what nature has given us. That Fiber One bar has nothing on fresh strawberries, a creamy avacado, or a delicious, juicy orange.
- Sit up straight. Hunching is not good for your spine. More info here. Plus, you'll look longer and leaner.
- Laugh. Endorphins make everything better.
I love this post! It's the simple habits that will make the day so much better.
I actually wrote a post (http://www.saladsticks.com/2009/07/water-is-life-changing.html) on my blog Salad Sticks that explains the benefits of water, and I can't agree with you more. Water is a much better choice than most other drinks, keeping you energized and even lowering your chances of heart attacks. Water can even reduce chances of cancer, including every woman's fear: Breast cancer.
I definitely recommend readers to read "The Importance of a Good Night's Sleep" article on this website. There's some valuable information there as to why sleep is important and how to sleep at night.
Thanks for the tips! I can't wait to read more!
